Set of 8 quality Christmas Crackers containing tiny wind up music boxes playing carols - assorted designs
Set of Christmas Crackers, in assorted designs - containing tiny wind up music boxes playing carols.
8 x 12" (30cm) crackers containing the usual hat, snap and joke, plus a tiny wind up music box, also known as a Hurdy Gurdy, which plays a Christmas Carol.
The hurdy-gurdy is a stringed instrument that produces sound by a hand crank-turned, rosined wheel rubbing against the strings. The wheel functions much like a violin bow, and single notes played on the instrument sound similar to those of a violin.
Simply wind up your music box, and watch as the tuned steel teeth are plucked by the metal pins.
Each box contains 8 different Christmas Carols from: Deck the Halls, Frosty the Snowman, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells, Joy to the World, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night, We wish you a Merry Christmas, White Christmas, and Winter Wonderland.
Great family fun, and the music boxes can be brought out year after year.
