Set of 6 Christmas Hats Design Christmas Crackers containing tiny wind up music boxes playing carols. 6 x 12" (30cm) crackers containing the usual hat, snap and joke, plus a tiny wind up music box, also known as a Hurdy Gurdy, which plays a Christmas Carol. The hurdy-gurdy is a stringed instrument that produces sound by a hand crank-turned, rosined wheel rubbing against the strings. The wheel functions much like a violin bow, and single notes played on the instrument sound similar to those of a violin. Simply wind up your music box, and watch as the tuned steel teeth are plucked by the metal pins. Each box contains 4 different Christmas Carols from: Deck the Halls, Frosty the Snowman, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Jingle Bells, Joy to the World, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Silent Night, We wish you a Merry Christmas, silver Christmas, and Winter Wonderland.
